Williamsport man faces charges following domestic disturbance

While reportedly trying to pick up his child at a North Main Street apartment in Hughesville about 1 p.m. on July 26, Christopher Ralp Joshua forced his way into an locked enclosed porch and then “began turning off electrical breakers to the residence,” state police alleged in an affidavit. Joshua, 26, of 1040 Hepburn St., then began banging loudly on the wooden door that lead to the apartment, police said.

Arraigned hours later before District Judge Gary Whiteman on felony trespassing and criminal mischief, Joshua was initially jailed, but has since been released on $25,000 bail.

Following a preliminary hearing earlier this month, he was held for court on both charges.

Starting at $2.99/week.
