Weekend enforcement detail results in three drivers being charged with DUI

During their recent DUI enforcement detail over the Labor Day weekend, state troopers took into custody three motorists who were suspected of being impaired with by alcohol, drugs or both, according to a news release. The drivers were stopped at a posted DUI sobriety checkpoint in LoyalsockTownship, police said. All three were eventually released and will be charged at a later date through a district judge’s office. The troopers also issued numerous notices as well as warnings to other drivers.
