Hughesville man gets 30 years in federal prison on child sex crimes
A Hughesville man was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for production of child pornography.
Christopher M. Stout, 49, pleaded guilty that he involved a 14-year-old girl to engage in sexual acts over a cellular network last year, and there were many other victims, according to the documents in U.S. Middle District Court.
Stout, when done with this girl for the purpose of making the video, moved on to other minors, according to the court papers.
U.S. Middle District Judge Matthew W. Brann sentenced Stout.
The sentence includes 10 years of supervised release and registering as a sex offender, not having contact with anyone under age 18 without permission and undergoing sex offender treatment. He was ordered to pay restitution of $10,000 to one of the pornography victims who had been identified, court documents revealed.
Stout was honorably discharged from the Marines, the court papers said.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Tatum Wilson prosecuted the case. Stout also faces state child sex charges filed in Lycoming County court.
