Even after being told that surveillance video recorded him allegedly stealing another man’s stainless steel drink container from the Squeaky Kleen Laundromat at 342 Allegheny St. in Jersey Shore on Sept. 7, Allen Joseph Reeder initially denied taking the item, Lycoming Regional police said in an affidavit. The video even showed Reeder, 18, of 209 Smith St., Jersey Shore, hiding the $45 container under his shirt as he exited the business, police said, adding that the teen eventually admitted to stealing the article, but he told an officer he no longer had it. Charged with theft and receiving stolen property, Reeder has been sent a summons to appear before District Judge Denise Dieter.
