After striking Stephen Dunlap’s parked Dodge in the 100 block of Bridge Street in Jersey Shore about 2 p.m. on Aug. 22, Jessica Marie Armstrong, driving a 2008 Buick, “took off super fast” down an alley, Dunlap, who was in his vehicle when it was hit, told Lycoming Regional police, according to an affidavit. Dunlap pursued the 44-year-old woman, who was caught dead in her tracks a short distance away since there was a metal cable across the roadway and she could not go any further, police said. Armstrong, of 3332 Little Pine Creek Road, Waterville, has been charged with accidents involving damage to an attended vehicle (hit-run) and two summary violations. She has been sent a summons to appear before Dieter.
