MONTGOMERY – Volunteer firefighters were called to Bryson Truck Repair about 1:30 p.m. Monday when a fire – involving two semi trailers that were next to one another – broke out at the business at 288 Route 54 in Clinton Township.
“One of the trailers was three-quarters full of cardboard,” said Casey Parker, township assistant fire chief, who credited Bryson employees with quickly moving one of the burning trailers away from the garage and office.
He said conditions upon arrival were very smoky.
It took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control, Parker said. Firefighters from the township and Washington Township were successful in stopping the fire from causing any serious damage to nearby structures, Parker said, adding that cause of the fire was under investigation.
