Sofia Elle Mileto, 19, of 1819 Hidden Valley Road, Loyalsock Township, was arrested Saturday night after she punched a paramedic in the face while the paramedic was trying to help and treat her for an undisclosed medical condition at Lycoming College, city police alleged in an affidavit. The court document did not say why an ambulance had initially been called for Mileto. Officers responded to 700 Warrior Way on the campus about 7:15 p.m. to investigate a report of a patient who was alleged to have assaulted a paramedic. “Mileto was being helped by emergency medical services when her behavior shifted and she confronted a paramedic” and punched her, police alleged. Following her arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey on one felony count of aggravated assault, Mileto was released on $10,000 bail.
