Williamsport police and firefighters along with paramedics were called to the National Range and Armory at 531 Washington Blvd. to investigate a report of a shooting about 5:45 p.m. Thursday. A woman was taken from inside the building, loaded into an ambulance and rushed to UPMC Williamsport, where she was undergoing treatment for a gunshot wound, police said. It appears that the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. No one is being sought and the public is in no danger from this incident, police said.
