Brady Township woman allegedly threw ‘every tool in the toolbox’ at boyfriend
Believing that her boyfriend was being unfaithful, Chelsie Lynn Glouse “threw every tool in the toolbox at him and then proceeded to strike him in the back of the head with a hammer” during a disturbance at the couple’s Brady Township home at 15 Ikes Drive on Friday afternoon, state police alleged in an affidavit. When troopers arrived on the scene, they noticed injuries on the boyfriend’s arms and hands as well as the back of his head, the court document stated. He was taken by ambulance to UPMC Williamsport to get medical treatment, police said. The 31-year-old Glouse initially told police that there was “no physical contact” between her and the boyfriend, but then admitted to assaulting him, police said. Following her arraignment before District Judge Gary Whiteman on charges of aggravated and simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, possession of an instrument of crime and harassment, Glouse, who was arrested at the scene, was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
