Eight charged with drug offenses in separate cases

Eight people have been charged with various drug offenses in separate cases, according to court records recently made public. Those charged were:

Rodney Colon, 59, who is homeless; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU); four counts of delivery of methamphetamine or fentanyl as well as three counts of illegal use of a cellphone and one count of possession of methamphetamine for his alleged involvement in city drug sales in the 1100 and 1200 block of Vine Avenue as well as 800 and 1100 blocks of West Fourth Street in the first week of December; jailed in lieu $30,000 bail.

Caden Wilson, 22, of 813 Hepburn St.; the county’s District Attorney’ Office; two counts each of delivery of marijuana and illegal use of communication device as well as one count each of carrying a firearm without a license and possession of an instrument of crime for possessing a handgun in a bookbag while dealing drugs in the 900 block of Market Street in the city on Sept. 24, it was alleged in an affidavit; he is alleged to have delivered marijuana to an informant in the 2500 block of Federal Avenue in the city on Sept. 19 as well; released on $20,000 bail.

James Theodore Crawford Jr., 19, of Milton; the county’s District Attorney’s Office, five counts each of delivery of psilocybin mushrooms and illegal use of a cellphone plus two counts each of illegal sale or transfer of a firearm and carrying a firearm without a license for his alleged involvement in multiple sales of the recreational narcotic between Oct. 30 and Dec. 4; initially jailed, but now out on $85,000 bail.

Errol Ammons, 47, of 419 High St.; the county’s NEU; possession with intent to deliver 18 grams cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia at his city apartment on Sept. 22; released on $50,000 bail.

Matthew Joseph Corwin, 34, of 13 W. Fourth St.; state police; possession with intent to deliver 13 grams of methamphetamine, possession of suspected heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia on Brandon Place in the city on Nov. 21; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Kaitlyn Marie Thorn, 28, of 629 Second Ave.; the county’s District Attorney Office; delivery of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine and illegal use of cellphone for he alleged involvement in the city sales of the controlled substance in the 800 and 900 block of Arch Street on July 9 and again July 30; released on $15,000 bail.

Sean David Beam, 43, of 117 W. SIxth Ave., South Williamsport; the county’s NEU; delivery of four oxycodone pills and illegal use of a communication device for his alleged involvement in a drug sale in the 1200 block of West Southern Avenue in South Williamsport on March 11; initially jailed, but now free on $25,000 bail.

Rasheed Green, 23, of 315 Louisa St.; city police; possession of bag of suspected crack cocaine at West Fourth Street and Seventh Avenue on Sept. 12; released on $5,000 bail.
