Tara Rosetta Short, 26, of 929 W. Fourth St., Williamsport, and her sister, Brittani Michelle Short, 31, of 727 Fourth Ave., Williamsport, have been charged by Muncy Township police with several offenses for assaulting another woman in front of her children in the 200 block of South Lycoming Mall Road on Oct. 23, it was alleged in an affidavit. Both women last week waived their preliminary hearings before District Judge Kristen Gardner and will face further court action on charges of simple assault, conspiracy, disorderly conduct and harassment. Tara also faces one count of criminal mischief. Both women are free on $5,000 bail.
