Hughesville man, Montoursville woman charged with endangering the welfare of a child
Anthony Joseph Machi, 46, of 860 Route 405, Hughesville, and Alissa Marie Henderson, 20, of 426 Third St., Montoursville, have both been charged with endangering the welfare of a child for engaging in sexual acts with one another in a car while a 14-year-old girl, who also was in the vehicle, watched, state police alleged in an affidavit.
The alleged incident occurred in Indian Park in Montoursville in late November 2023, police said. Machi was recently arraigned before District Judge Gary Whiteman and released on $10,000 bail. He will have a preliminary hearing later this month while Henderson, who faces an additional misdemeanor charge of corrupting the morals of a minor, has already waived her preliminary hearing. She too is free on bail.
