13 recently charged with drug offenses in Lycoming County
Thirteen people have been charged with drug offenses, according to court records that were recently made public: Those charged were:
Sara Lynn Hittinger, 45, of 152 Boak Ave., lot 72, Hughesville; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU); possession with intent to deliver 1,500 bags of fentanyl and convicted felon not possess firearms after detectives seized the drugs and six handguns as well as seven long guns at her Wolf Township home while executing a search warrant at the property on March 6; jailed in lieu of $150,000 bail.
Tai-Mare Luis Mercado, 36, of Delano, Schuylkill County, and Ann Marie Shafer, 26, of Berwick; state police four counts of conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine and related offenses for their alleged involvement in four separate sales of the controlled substance to an informant between Feb. 3 and Tuesday; three of the sales took place in Wolf Township while a fourth occurred on Commerce Park Drive, according to court records; Mercado jailed in lieu of $150,000 while Shafer was incarcerated in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Stephen David Hindman, 58, of 1422 W, Fourth St.; city police; possession of nearly five grams of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia that he allegedly had in his jacket when he was taken into custody at his home on two separate arrest warrants on March 6, according to court records; jailed in lieu of $10,000 bail.
Khair Quaron Taylor, 19, of 1720 Memorial Ave.; city police; possession with intent to deliver 2.2 ounces of suspected marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia that were found in his bedroom on March 5; jailed in lieu of $35,000 bail.
Tanner Drew Williamson, 35, of Watsontown; the county’s NEU; delivery of methamphetamine to an undercover officer at routes 15 and 54 in Clinton Township on Dec. 4, illegal use of cellphone and conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine at the same location on Dec 9; initially jailed, but now free on $100,000 bail; in second sale, Williamson allegedly conspired with Taylor Anthony Shaw, 32, also known as “Taz,” of Selinsgrove, who has already been arrested and is free on $50,000 bail.
Kayden Tomlinson, 20, of 11 Bartlow Drive, Picture Rocks; the county’s District Attorney’s Office; possession with intent to deliver cocaine to an informant and illegal use of a cellphone on Cottage Street in Hughesville on Nov. 20; initially jailed, but now free on $35,000 bail; co-defendant Keshawn Rasheed Martin, 20, of Bloomsburg, was already arrested in this same case and is free on $35,000 bail.
Stephen David Hindman, 58, of 612 Fifth Ave.; the county’s NEU; possession of fentanyl as well cocaine and ecstasy that were discovered in his house while county probation officers were conducting a surprise inspection there on Nov. 9; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
David Monroe Wells III, 29, of 2146 Route 973 East, Cogan Station; state police; two counts each of delivery of methamphetamine and illegal use of a communication device or his alleged involvement in two sales of the controlled substance to an informant on Sept. 4 and Oct. 2; one sale took place at Wells’ home while the other occurred on William Street in the city; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
Coty Allen Schaffer, 36, of 344 Lower Barbours Road; city police; possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 1100 block of Washington Boulevard on Feb. 17; released on $7,500 bail.
Charles Ernest Hilborn, 64, of 613 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore; Lycoming Regional police; possession of cocaine as well as possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia along with tampering with evidence following an incident at his home on Dec. 24; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.
Nicholas Scott Heisley, 38, of 2211 W. Third St.; the county’s NEU; two counts each of delivery of cocaine to an informant and conspiracy for his alleged involvement in two sales of the controlled substance that occurred in the city’s Newberry neighborhood, one on Sept. 4 and another on Sept. 26; released on $25,000 bail.
Calvin Terrell Charles, 38, of 662 Fourth Ave.; the county’s NEU; delivery of 12 grams of cocaine to an informant and illegal use of cellphone in the area of Fifth Avenue and Nichols Place on Aug. 27; released on $25,000 bail.
