A 90-year-old Loyalsock Township woman was being treated at UPMC Williamsport for injuries she suffered when her SUV slammed into the back of a stopped Hyundai Elantra at Loyalsock Avenue and Claire Road in Montourville about 3:30 p.m. Friday, according to borough police. Following the collision, the woman’s vehicle flipped onto its side. Borough and state police both responded as did Montoursville volunteer firefighters. The second driver was not hurt, police said.
