Earlier this year, the Lycoming Law Association honored Attorney Clifford Rieders for more than 50 years of membership. Introduced by his law partner, Corey Mowrey, the tribute highlighted Rieders’s arrival in Lycoming County in 1973 to clerk for Judge Malcolm Muir, his decades of legal practice, his long-standing contributions to the profession and the community, and his mentorship of numerous attorneys.

Rieders was also recognized for organizing educational programs with the Lycoming Law Association, including a notable lecture series last year that brought several appellate judges to the area. Central to the recognition was Rieders’ dedication to his family, including working alongside his spouse and maintaining close relationships with his three children, all of whom are attorneys.
