Williamsport man charged after allegedly selling drugs, handgun
Five days after selling a handgun for $500 to an informant in the 1200 block of Park Avenue in the city on Oct. 29, Zavier Walker Stoner, who goes by the street name “Zavy,” sold 28 grams of marijuana to the informant on North Loyalsock Avenue in Montoursville, it was alleged in an affidavit filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit. The serial number on the handgun had been altered, the court document stated. Walker Stoner, 19, of 328 Rural Ave., was taken into custody and arraigned Monday before District Judge Kirsten Gardner on multiple felonies, including carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm with an obliterated or altered serial number, delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of illegal use of a communications device plus one misdemeanor, illegal transfer or sale of a firearm. During the alleged sale of the handgun, Walker Stoner told the informant he had two or three other guns on him. He was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $95,000 bail.
