Williamsport man charged with assaulting ex-girlfriend
Williamsport police have charged Levi Anthony Walker, 26, of 226 Wagner Road with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly attacked an ex-girlfriend outside of a local establishment in the 100 block of West Third Street on March 27, 2026.
Video footage taken by a friend of the alleged victim showed Walker forcefully pushing her into the building and grabbing her when she tried to retreat from the situation, resulting in the two getting thrown into a metal gate, an affidavit said.
Walker allegedly had a tight grip on the alleged victim’s hair as she tried to fend him off before he shoves her against the gate once again and swings at her.
The video ends with Walker leaving the scene in possession of the alleged victim’s purse, according to court documents.
Police observed blood coming from the right ear of the alleged victim, as well as a cut on her left arm and a bruise on the back of her left arm, they said in court filings.
Walker allegedly denied putting his hands on the alleged victim, stating that he had only defended himself once attacked.
He was arraigned by District Judge Kirsten Gardner, and remanded to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.
