The Academic Decathlon of Central Pennsylvania held its Winter Scrimmage for the 2025-2026 year at South Williamsport on Jan 15. Students competed in Music, Math, Economics, and Science.

Montoursville came in 4th place out of 7 teams overall.

Ruby Watts (11th) – Bronze in Economics

Liam Connor (9th) – Gold in Music, Silver in Math,

and the Silver Medal for Overall Score

Morgan Hood (11th) -Bronze in Music

Zion Brown (10th) – Bronze in Science

Carter Reeder (9th) -Bronze in Music

Varsity Division

Reese Peterson (11th) – Gold in Music and Economics

and the Gold Medal for Overall Score

Charlie Jackson (10th) – Bronze in Math

Also competing from Montoursville were senior Emily Gladu, juniors Sadie Hall, Cat Hittle, Ryleigh McConnaughhay, Elias Rodriguez and Rylee Tillema; sophomores Allison Chapman, Abel Conahan, Nadia Farenish, Storie Holtzman, Charlie Jackson, Angelina Rockey and Alexis-Zimmerman West; and freshmen Giulian Berardelli, Reagan Greene and Izabella Weaver.
