Local Daughters of the American Revolution chapter announces award winners

Each year, the Lycoming Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) presents commencement awards to area high school seniors with the highest average. The Anne Perley American history award goes to a senior at Williamsport Area High School, honoring the chapter’s 4th Regent Anne Perley from Williamsport, who was also a state regent and a vice president general at the national level of the society. CU-Lock Haven to host summer preview day July 12

LOCK HAVEN — Commonwealth University-Lock Haven will host a summer preview day on Friday, July 12. Check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Admissions Office lobby on the first floor of the Durrwachter Alumni Conference Center (DACC). Students will learn about the admission process and preview financial aid options and scholarships.
