Campus community helps local families in need through program

LOCK HAVEN — It’s the holiday season — a time of giving, helping others and spreading kindness. The Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Community Service Office recently hosted an event to help local children and families in need have a joyful holiday through its 22nd annual Adopt A Family project, in partnership with the Salvation Army in Lock Haven. Criminal justice club visits Municipal Police Academy

LOCK HAVEN — This fall, members of the Commonwealth University-Lock Haven Criminal Justice Club visited the Act 120 Municipal Police Academy at the CU-Mansfield campus. The students, along with Dr. Michael J. McSkimming, club co-adviser, were greeted by instructors of the academy and then given a presentation detailing the program standards, requirements and schedule.
