17 charged in Lycoming County

Seventeen people have been charged with various criminal offenses, according to court records. Those charged and the law enforcement agencies involved were:

• Convicted sex offender Cody Berger, 25,; city police; two counts of failure to register with the state police when he left a home where he had been staying in the 300 block of Woodland Avenue in mid-January; he also failed to report his employment status when he was terminated from a job back in mid-October; state law stipulates convicted sex offenders must report to state police any change in their address or job status; jailed in lieu of $99,000 bail.

• Motorist Susan Quinn, 66, of 698 Lyons Barr Road, Montoursville; state police; DUI and careless driving following a crash on Jacks Hollow Road in Armstrong Township on Jan. 3; blood-alcohol content level was .13; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Motorist Tia Smith-Fisher, 47, of 2319 Marydale Ave.; Old Lycoming Township police; DUI in the 2100 block of Marydale Avenue on Dec. 23; refused to provide a blood sample; this was her second DUI arrest; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Khalif Akins, 39, of 423 Louisa St.; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit; possession with intent to deliver crack cocaine and related offenses in the area of Elmira and Louisa streets on Nov. 13; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

• Motorist Austin Murray, 21, of 750 W. Edwin St.; city police; DUI of marijuana at Hepburn and Bridge streets on Nov. 9; initially jailed, but now free on $5,000 bail.

• Austin Garner, 20, of Annapolis, Maryland; city police; possession of 3.1 ounces of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia in Skeath Hall at Lycoming College on Nov. 9; released on $5,000 bail.

• Motorist Christopher Digrazia, 18, of Doylestown; Pennsylvania College of Technology police; DUI and underage drinking in the 1200 block of West Third Street on Oct. 27; blood-alcohol content level .13; released on $3,500 bail.

• Motorist John Hiras, 43, of 115 Parkwood St.; DUI and careless driving at Elizabeth Street and Brandon Place on Oct. 20; blood-alcohol content level .15; released on $5,000 bail.

• Motorist Stuart Caruso, 59, of 322 Rocky Hill Road, Muncy; Old Lycoming Township police; DUI of fentanyl and methamphetamines in the 2000 block of Lycoming Creek Road on Oct. 19; this is his second DUI arrest; released on $1,500 bail.

• Motorist Austin McCloskey, 24, of North Versailles, Allegheny County; city police; DUI, accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle after allegedly slamming his SUV into a parked vehicle so hard that parked vehicle struck a second parked car that was pushed “off the road” in the 1200 block of Race Street on Oct. 6; he was apprehended near the scene; blood-alcohol content level was .17; released on $3,500 bail.

• Danielle Abbott, 34, of Towanda; city police; misdemeanor shoplifting for allegedly fleeing with $114 worth of merchandise from Kohl’s, 251 William St., on Oct. 2; released on $5,000 bail.

• Jasmine Thomas, 19, of 38 W. Houston Ave., Montgomery; city police; statutory sexual assault, unlawful contact with a minor and indecent assault for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a male minor in the city’s East End in late September; jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.

• Lisa Hamm, 47, of 241 Back St., lot 39, of Montoursville; city police; misdemeanor shoplifting after she allegedly stole $1,225 merchandise from Avu Goldsmith, 246 E. Church St., on Sept. 6; released on $5,000 bail.

• Mark Bird, 47, of 110 W. Central Ave., South Williamsport; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit; possession with intent to deliver methamphetamines and related offenses at his former home at 507 Fairmont Ave. in the borough on Aug. 8; jailed in lieu of $25,000 bail.

• Blake McEwen, 26, of 1127 Lloyd St.; city police; possession of 14 bags of suspected marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at Tenth and Memorial avenues on July 18; released on $2,500 bail.

• Asia Agnew, 22, of 170 Pinecrest Drive; city police; theft by deception and receiving stolen property by allegedly deceiving Olivia Lebate, of 140 Grampian Blvd., of $130 through an investment scam using mobile messaging system on July 12; sent a summons to appear before a district judge.

• Brianna Follmer, 25, of 5801 Route 287, Jersey Shore; the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit; possession with intent to deliver six amphetamine pills on Feb. 25 and possession with intent to deliver 10 bags of heroin and related offenses on March 8; both incidents occurred on Plaza Drive in Montoursville; released on $25,000 bail.
