Jeffrey Allen Letscher, 34, of 2506 Canoe Run Road, Jersey Shore, was recently held for court on state police charges of simple assault and harassment for allegedly punching a female acquaintance in the face during a confrontation in his Mifflin Township home on Sept. 28, court documents stated. Following the hearing before District Judge Denise Dieter, Letscher was released on $10,000 bail.
