Inmate faces a new set of felony drug charges

New drug charges have been lodged against county prison inmate Niklas David Keller, who was arraigned just last week before District Judge Christian Frey on three felony counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a cellphone that were filed by state police. The charges stem from Keller’s alleged involvement in three cocaine sales dating back to between mid-September and mid-November in 2023, police said. The sales occurred in the 1900 block of Newberry Street in the city, police said. Already incarcerated on charges filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit for selling 30 grams of cocaine to an informant on Lloyd Street in the city on Nov. 21, Keller has been recommitted in lieu of an additional $100,000 bail.

Starting at $2.99/week.
