Three Lycoming County men faces charges for their alleged involvement in drug sales

Brothers Dale Erb Jr., 66, and Daryle Erb, 64, both of 425 Freedom Road, along with a third man, Brian Livergood Jr., 52, of 326 Forge Hill Road, Linden, have been arrested by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit on felony charges for their alleged involvement in one or more drug sales that took place at the brothers’ home, according to court records. The Erbs are alleged to have conspired in selling crack cocaine to an undercover officer on two occasions on Feb. 13 and once on Feb. 24, it was stated in a criminal complaint.

Investigators said that Daryle Erb conspired with Livergood in selling six grams of crack cocaine to an undercover officer on Feb. 24, it was alleged in the court document. Daryle Erb (some court documents spell his first name without an e) faces four counts of delivery of a controlled substance, three counts of illegal use of a cellphone and one count of conspiracy while his brother has been charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and one count each illegal use of a cellphone and one count of conspiracy, according to investigators. Livergood has been charged with one count each of delivery of a controlled substance, illegal use of a cellphone and conspiracy for his alleged involvement with Daryle Erb in a single drug sale to an undercover officer on Feb. 24, it was stated in an affidavit. All three men were arraigned last week before District Judge Christian Frey and released on $25,000 bail each.

Investigators alleged that the brothers obtained their supply of crack cocaine from Rasheed Bond, 37, of 647 Beeber St., who was arrested earlier this year by the narcotics enforcement unit on drug charges, including one count each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and tampering with evidence plus three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. However, following a preliminary hearing on March 13 before District Judge Aaron Biichle, two of the felony delivery charges were tossed out due to insufficient evidence.

Starting at $2.99/week.
