Charges filed after gun-pointing incident in Williamsport

Roland Alexander Zerbe, 30, of 820 Fifth Ave., has been locked up on charges of allegedly pointing a handgun at another man during a disturbance in the 800 block of Fourth Avenue about 12:20 a.m. Friday, city police said. Following his arraignment before District Judge William Solomon on charges of recklessly endangering another person, possession of an instrument of crime, simple assault and person prohibited from possessing a firearm, Zerbe was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail.

Williamsport teen accused of intimidating confidential informant

Kaden Zackery Deshong, 18, of 120 E. Fourth St., Williamsport, has been charged with intimidation of a witness, terroristic threats and illegal use of a cellphone after sending threatening and intimidating text messages to a confidential informant in Williamsport on Feb. 6, it was alleged in an affidavit filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit. Following his arraignment before District Judge Aaron Biichle, Deshong, who has since waived his preliminary hearing, was initially jailed, but is now free on $15,000 bail.

Jersey Shore man charged with robbery

Kris Worden, 44, of 508 Railroad St., Jersey Shore, has been arrested on charges of robbing a care-dependent man by throwing a blanket over his head and forcibly taking his wallet from him in the victim’s Woodward Township home Nov. 30, state police alleged in an affidavit. Police said Worden took an estimated $1,000 from the wallet before he was contacted and told to return the wallet by the victim’s care provider, police alleged. Charges filed after two children in Williamsport were left home alone

Christine Brigida, 31, of 1304 Scott St., Williamsport, has been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child for leaving her two children, ages 1 and 8, unattended at home for about an hour while she went on an errand about 12:15 a.m. Sunday, city police alleged in an affidavit. Following her arraignment before Biichle, Brigida was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Driver charged with hit-run following two-vehicle crash on Lycoming Creek Road

Jonathan Scott Weigel, 38, of 2200 Lycoming Creek Road, has been charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle (hit-run) after he allegedly fled the scene of a crash in which his Subaru Impreza struck another vehicle in the 1900 block of Lycoming Creek Road on Dec. 15, according to Lycoming Regional police. He has since waived his preliminary hearing before Solomon and is free on $5,000 bail.

Trout Run area man faces forgery charge

Noah Thomas Daniels, 30, of 2043 Pleasant Stream Road, Trout Run, has been arrested on a felony charge of forgery after he passed a counterfeit $100 at the 7-Eleven, 1601 Dewey Ave., in Old Lycoming Township on Jan. 22, Lycoming Regional police said. After handing the bill to an employee, Daniels fled the store, police said. He has since been held for court on the charge following a preliminary hearing before Solomon and is free on $15,000 bail.
