Church of the Resurrection, 75 Musser Lane, Muncy, will hold its annual Parish Festival on Friday, Sept. 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 20, from 1 to 7 p.m., rain or shine. This is the 51st year for the event, which helps to raise money for the needs of the church.

The two-day event “is not only for parishioners, but it is also for our community,” said Mary Todor, festival committee secretary.

The festival is planned with the help of long-time committee volunteers, who tackle everything from gathering sponsors, shopping for supplies and organizing the numerous volunteers the week of the event.

This year’s menu includes hot dogs, sausage, stuffed cabbage, pierogies, haluski, French fries and much more.

Games for kids and adults, a bake sale, a silent auction, and a quilt, basket, cooler of cheer and more raffles are also available.

Live music features the return of Rick Kerstetter and Rich Ahearn on Friday beginning at 4 p.m. and the Catawissa Military Band on Saturday starting at 3:30 p.m.

Mums, baked goods, ice cream and — on Friday only — cotton candy will be available.
