Commissioners to consider agency agreements
Lycoming County Commissioners are scheduled to approve agreements with STEP, Inc. and other agencies for services during their meeting Thursday.
Three contracts with STEP totaling $525,000 for the agency’s Urgent Need and Supportive Housing and Homes in Need programs were introduced at Tuesday’s meeting.
Grant agreements with American Rescue Workers for rental assistance and Transitional Living Centers, Inc. are also up for approval by commissioners.
Commissioners are expected to consider a contract renewal for $11,263 with Northpointe/Equivant connected to treatments for prison and adult probation populations.
Other matters expected up for approval at Thursday’s meeting include:
• A bid of $32,682 for recycling materials and supplies from Accent Wire.
• A $19,786 Hazardous Material Response Fund Grant to fund the salary of a part-time worker, training and other costs.
• Professional services agreements with Dr. John G. Galaznik and attorney Robert Hoffa for court-related needs.
• A lease agreement of $6,600 with American Red Cross.
