Senate candidate Dave McCormick makes stop in Clinton County
McELHATTAN — U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick recently visited Restless Oaks to meet with constituents.
McCormick listened to struggles and challenges in the community firsthand from commonwealth veterans who attended.
He was welcomed to speak by Congressman Glenn “GT” Thompson and the chairman of the Clinton County Republican Party, Kurt Smith, who praised McCormick for what he’s been doing during his campaign.
Some of the topics McCormick touched on were the economy, immigration, the fentanyl crisis, term limits, the country’s spiritual decline and support of veterans across the country.
He answered questions from the crowd using his perspective as someone who served in the military and spoke about what he would do to better support veterans if he becomes Pennsylvania’s next U.S. senator.
Those in attendance had the opportunity to sign McCormick’s bus, which he hopes to fill with signatures from across the commonwealth.
