Engineer seeks Republican nomination for Williamsport city council

David Dussinger is running for the Republican nomination for Williamsport City Council in the May 20 primary election.
Dussinger is a husband and father of three children, ages 14, 11 and 1.
“My family and I have called Williamsport home for the last five years after relocating here from South Carolina,” he said.
“I am a Pa. native, originally from Tunkhannock, a former paramedic in Lackawanna County, and for the last 16 years have been working as an engineer.
“My family and I have been truly blessed to have found a place we can call our forever home.”
“As a paramedic and engineer, I am very adept at tackling challenging problems, beginning by understanding the issues and then creating and driving a plan to solve the problem,” he said.
He continued: “I have a good understanding of the needs of the city, and if elected, will apply my skill set to help drive down the cost of living in the city, while not impacting the critical services that the city provides. I will also collaborate with the Mayor and with City Council to increase revenue for the city.”
“My core beliefs are Faith, Family and Friends, traditional ‘common sense’ values, and fiscal responsibility.
“I will use these values to guide my decisions to keep this a great city, and a great place to live & raise a family. The people of Williamsport deserve a balanced budget with streets, roads and alleys that are maintained and up-to-date,” he said.
“We also need critical services like Police, Fire, and EMS to be there quickly when needed while ensuring the city is an affordable place to live and work. I will be dedicated to delivering this to the great residents of the City of Williamsport, if elected.”
