First responders, law enforcement and community to mix and mingle on National Night Out
National Night Out is returning to Lycoming County on Tuesday.
For the event, “firefighters, ambulance and paramedic employees and city and community leaders get together with the public they serve in what’s become known as the National Night Out,” the Sun-Gazette reported in a 2024 article. “Besides the interaction, the event is a chance to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community, officials said.”
“This fun-filled evening is a great opportunity to meet and interact with your local first responders, community resources and area churches,” a social media post from the Williamsport Bureau of Police said. “Enjoy delicious food from local food trucks while the kids enjoy games and face painting activities. This is a great opportunity to connect with our community.”
