The Williamsport Municipal Airport Authority acted on several pieces of business at its most recent meeting, including the access-road project and lease agreements.
The Authority approved a payment of $214,578 to HRI, Inc., covering nearly the total amount for reconstruction of the access road.
The work began in October and is to be completed by the spring.
“It was a quick project,” Airport Executive Director Eric McKitish said.
In a related matter, the Authority approved a change order lowering the original project cost from $237,980 to $225,871.
The Authority approved one-year lease agreement extensions for Eagle Automotive and World Travel International.
McKitish reported 49 of 50 scheduled departures and arrivals of flights at the airport during November for an overall completion rate of 98%.
He noted that the snowstorm of Dec. 2 created no flight delays for the local airport.
The Authority voted to authorize advertising dates for its meetings in the coming year. Regular meetings will be held the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. and committee meetings on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as needed.
The Authority accepted the audit reports for 2024.
An executive session was held following the meeting to consider lease matters.
The Authority’s next regular monthly meeting will be Jan. 8 at the airport terminal building.
