Jean’s in-charge personality and infectious laugh made her the life of the party, a beacon of light that could brighten even the gloomiest of days.

Jean’s remarkable ability to find humor in every situation and her unwavering determination to live life on her own terms were the hallmarks of her character, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Jean is survived by four siblings, Joann Chappell (Steven), Teresa D’Alena (Francis), Michael Hostrander (Karen), and Kelly Springman (Mark); nine nieces and nephews; and twenty great nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Carol Hostrander.
