Doyle Leroy Bodle, Jr

Doyle L. Bodle Jr., 78, of Springtown, Texas passed away on Thursday November 6. 2025. He was born on January 18,1947 in Williamsport, Pa. to Doyle Sr. and Eleanor Fritz Bodle.

He Graduated from Williamsport High School in 1965 and entered the Air Force serving 4 years, then the Pennsylvania National Guard. He was a retired truck driver.

Doyle is survived by his wife, Peggy Scaife Bodle with whom he shared 55 years of marriage and raised 2 children, Brenda Bates and husband David of Azle Texas, and Matthew Bodle and wife Kristy of Rhome, Texas; 4 Grandchildren, Ethan, Abigail, Lydia Bates and Owen Bodle, and several nieces and nephews.

Doyle is proceeded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard Bodle; and sisters, Joyce Barton, Arlene Butler, and Nettie Jane Bodle; and his granddaughter, Rachel Bates.

A graveside Service will be held near Benton, Pa. at a later date.
