Gary M. Williamson
Gary M. Williamson, of Williamsport, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at the age of 55.
Gary was born on May 18, 1970, in Williamsport to Gary E. Williamson and the late Tricia J. (Holt) Williamson. A proud graduate of Williamsport Area High School’s class of 1988, Gary went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in History from Shippensburg University in 1993. At the time of his passing, Gary was still an integral part of the Culligan of North Central PA in Lewisburg, where he had shaped a career defined by commitment and excellence. He was known not only for his work ethic but also for his ability to light up any room with his friendly demeanor and ready laugh. Gary was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed mostly turkey hunting and fishing, and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Gary had an exceptional bond with his family. He is survived by his father, Gary E. Williamson of Williamsport; his brothers, Randy L. Williamson and his wife Kimberly of Williamsport, and Matthew S. Williamson and his wife Michele of Montoursville. His role as an uncle to Ethan L. Williamson, Caleb A. Williamson, Maxton L. Williamson, and Maslin E. Williamson, was one Gary cherished above all else. Their Uncle Gary was incredible in every sense, spoiling them with love, supporting their sporting events, and creating countless memories at the hunting cabin and on ice fishing adventures. Gary also leaves behind to cherish the memories made, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his best buddy, Perry Douglass.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, there will be no services.
