Helenmae H. (Estep) Deissler
Helenmae H. (Estep) Deissler, 81, of Linden, passed away surrounded by family on January 13, 2026 at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born May 15, 1944 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frounchetta (Lloyd) Adams.
Helenmae was preceded in death by her daughter, Christine Estep, first husband, Eddie Estep Sr., her second husband, Edward Deissler; as well as her son-in-law, Jesse Keller.
Helenmae was a devoted homemaker who took great pride in caring for her home and family.
Helenmae loved gospel country music and used to sing on the local radio for the American Rescue Workers while working for them in the 1960s. This was how she met her first husband, Eddie.
Helenmae is survived by her 6 children with Eddie Estep Sr., Frounchetta Keller, Eddie Estep Jr. (Ann), Bettyann Congdon (Mark), Sheila Estep (George), Joe Estep Sr. (Marsha), and Loretta Herman (Estep) (Dave, Wally); 8 grandchildren, Mark Congdon Jr., Jessica Wurst (Congdon), Jacquelane Burke (Congdon), Nikki Beaver (Estep), Joey Estep Jr., Cody Estep, Heather Estep, and Gage Estep; and 18 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service to honor the life of Helenmae will be held 11:30 a.m., Friday, January 16 at Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St. Williamsport. Burial will follow in Montoursville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service, Friday, at Sanders.
