Aspen Renee Deitrick
Our sweet Aspen Renee Deitrick, went to be with the angels on February 14, 2026 at the age of 1 year and 4 months. She was born on October 15, 2024 and weighed only 1lb. 14oz.
Aspen was the daughter to Mark R. Deitrick Jr. and Ashley R. Miller. She was adored by her two sisters, Cheyenne R. Deitrick, and twin sister, Elena R. Deitrick. In addition to her parents, and sisters, she was survived by her maternal great-grandmother, Annabelle Shetler, of Lock Haven; maternal grandparents, David and Wendy Miller, of Loganton; her paternal grandparents, Mark and Tammy Deitrick, of Shermansdale, and great-grandmother, Barbara Hill, of Jersey Shore.
There are many things we will cherish about Aspens short life. She had a contagious smile that would light up the room, and would reach out for a hug from everyone. She had the sweetest heart and the most beautiful bond with her sisters. Her big sister Cheyenne would spend hours cuddling and loving on her. Aspen could always turn your day around with her entertaining sounds, expressions and sense of humor. She made an impact on everyone that met her and showed us all just how beautiful and fragile life can be.
Aspen and her twin sister were born at 26 weeks and she was the bravest little girl from day one. She fought endlessly for 322 days in the NICU, until she was finally able to come home to her family. In her time home she was loved endlessly by her family and all of her Doctors, NICU nurses and home nurses. The bonds that were formed with her in her short time on earth, will be the strings that hold us together until we see her again. Aspen will be forever missed and loved.
A memorial gathering honoring her will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Aspen’s memory may be made to the March of Dimes, www.marchofdimes.org.
Arrangements are entrusted to Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, Jersey Shore.
