Carol F. Mantle, 88, of Jersey Shore, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2026 at Nippenose Valley Village. Born July 13, 1938 in Jersey Shore, she was a daughter to the late Matthew F. Ferguson and the former Thelma Frye. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clair R. Mantle; a son, Craig A. Mantle; and a brother, M. Ray Ferguson. Phyllis Williams, 78, of Jersey Shore, died Aug. 12, 2026 in Williamsport. Phyllis spent many years as a unit clerk for UPMC. Surviving are her daughters, Jennifer Ergott (Steve Parlante), of Williamsport, Kimberly S. Croft (Christopher), of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren; a brother and a sister.
