Makes you question
If you ever listen to someone who supports Republicans one would believe that anyone who is a member of the Democratic Party is weak on crime, lacks ethics and hates freedoms.
A recent report shows that eight states that voted for Trump have the highest crime rates in the country. Kevin McCarthy who is the Representative from Bakersfield, California, claims that Speaker Nancy Pelosi is to blame for high crime rates in America. Speaker Pelosi who represents San Francisco, their crime rate is lower than Bakersfield.
It is being reported that the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas admits she attended the Jan. 6 rally. She is also involved in a lot of right wing causes that have had or will have cases brought before the Supreme Court and Justice Thomas has never recuse himself from those cases. There are other members who have heard cases brought by companies where a couple of the judges, Roberts, Alito and Breyer, hold stock in those companies and voted in favor for those companies. Many judges, federal or not, recuse from cases that could be a conflict of interest. Why are Supreme Court Justices not doing the same? In my opinion, it is no wonder the Supreme Court is said to no longer be apolitical.
Republicans are for freedoms, so they say they are. Republicans are passing measures banning books from school libraries and some are even banning books from public libraries. I believe some red states are throwing out ballots. Some states have set up hot lines to report on teachers, women suspected of getting an abortion, parents of children who identify as trans.
Before you blame Democrats for the crime wave take a good look in your Republican controlled states how bad it is. You think Democrats have an ethics problem take a good look at your own Republicans. Before you claim Democrats are trying to take your freedoms away Republicans better explain why it is okay for Republican states to take rights and freedoms from other people in this country and to ban books.
