U.S. Presidents are preoccupied with their historical legacy. Now, in my humble opinion, Trump will not be remembered for unleashing the Golden Age of America, nor for ushering in world piece, nor for winning the Noble Peace Prize, nor for his head carved into Mount Rushmore–assuming they can find enough orange paint. He will go down in history as a climate denier who changed the trajectory away from clean energy, negatively impacting the lives and wellbeing of millions, maybe billions of human beings in the coming decades.

What he is doing and already done to climate science and clean energy technology is monstrous to say the least, and in the long run, may become one of the most heinous and premeditated crimes in human history.

Think about that the next time you see him on one of his golf courses.
