While Trump is hosting a sumptuous dinner party at Mar-a-Lago for his wealthy friends, 42 million Americans who rely on SNAP will go hungry because Trump refuses to release funds that are available. During the shutdown, he refused to talk to Democrats who wished to protect SNAP and the tax incentives under Obamacare, without which 7.3 million Americans will see their health insurance costs rise significantly. He already took money away from programs benefiting 7.5 million disabled children when he gutted the Department of Education.

Soon many Americans will go hungry while Trump is planning his new ballroom and marble bathroom. The suffering of our neighbors is apparent as food prices continue to rise due to his tariffs. Meanwhile Trump has played golf 72 days out of the 295 days he’s been in office at a cost of $100,800,000 which we taxpayers will pay. It’s clear what Trump’s priorities are.
