While traveling from DC to Buffalo (Go Bills) I heard an unfamiliar noise and exited route 15 to investigate. Sure enough, a flat tire. Contacted triple A. While waiting a gentlemen came and offered to change the tire. He efficiently did so in the freezing cold. I offered him Cash and he only took half of what I offered. I asked if he could direct me to a place to get a tire, I didn’t care if it was a big box or a little guy.
The tire place he recommended was perfect and quick. They recommended a place to eat while we waited, which was also very good. We were back on the road in 30 minutes.
Last year at Thanksgiving we stayed at the Genetti which was also a lovely experience (I still tell people about the breakfast). Gracious rooms and quiet.
I have driven through Williamsport a zillion times in the past and always sped right through. Can’t believe what I have missed all these years. Researched the history and learned about the lumber industry that put Williamsport on the map and here I thought it was only the Little League. The city is Big League in my book.
