I’m first going to address the two letters printed by the editor on Jan. 9. Were either of the writers there when those two people were shot and did you see any of the videos that were taken? Where were you when Barack Obama deported more illegal immigrants than any other president? He also made a statement that they weren’t going to come here and get a free ride on the taxpayers’ backs. What about Joe Biden, when he was a senator, stating that the illegal immigrants aren’t wanted here and they have to go?

We also have a Constitution and laws in this country, at least I think we do, and they need to be adhered to.

How do you know that a five-year-old was used as bait? Don’t you think they may have waited for someone to come and take that child home?

When I was being raised I was taught good morals and I was also taught to respect the police, teachers, my elders and my parents. I still have much respect for all of them, including ICE agents. They aren’t the monsters you depict them to be. These men put their lives on the line every day to protect all of us from being raped, murdered, assaulted.

How do you know what the conditions of those detention centers are like? Were you there?

What I am witnessing right now is that the Democrats are pushing socialism onto the American people. They just had a vote in Congress on who is against socialism and who is for it. Eighty-eight Democrats crossed the aisle and voted with Republicans against socialism while 98 Democrats voted for it.

My uncle was killed in Anzio, Italy, during WWII, fighting against Satan’s brother Adolf Hitler and I too am a disabled Vietnam veteran that literally hates socialism.

Socialists do what socialists do and thats lying and spreading propaganda and calling everyone else that doesn’t agree with them fascist, Nazi and Hitler.

Ronald Reagan said it best when he said you’d better start worrying when big government comes knocking on your door, telling you that they are there to help you.

Look how Democrats mocked, made fun of and made jokes when Charlie Kirk was assassinated. That takes pure evil to do that. Charlie Kirk was a Christian and a patriot that the left hated because he was undoing the brainwashing that their young college adults were subjected to.

I have a question for everyone to ask themselves — is patriotism in this country dead or has it grown a yellow streak down the middle of its back? Just wait and see what is going to happen in New York City because they voted in a Communist Islamist as their mayor. The only thing they heard when he gave his speeches was everything for free. He also stated that no one should own any private property.

The choice is yours to make. Stand up or bow down.
