When I was attending Lycoming College shortly after the end of the Vietnam war, Dr. Michael Roskin (the best lecturing professor ever!) taught a political science course there on why nations go to war. While examining the Vietnam War one day, the topic of the War Powers Act came up. Dr. Roskin stated he thought this topic was important enough to throw out his planned lesson for that day and proceeded to spell out for the class how liberal zeal to rein in the power of the president and prevent another Vietnam had actually strengthened that power and abilty of the office to do so.

As a result of the War Powers Act, the President now had FREE rein to execute military actions (INDEPENDENT OF congressional approval) for 90 DAYS! Like Senator Fetterman said, “READ THE WAR POWERS ACT” for yourself. The TDS afflicted nay-sayers don’t have a legal leg to stand on.

So why would the Swamp Things like Schumer, Schiff, Kelly, AOC and dozens more, openly display that they are either incompetent leaders or bare faced liars in their attacks on Trump’s military actions in Iran?

Fear.

Fear that Trump has the brass, will, smarts and luck needed to thread the needle of the Middle East conundrum that has eluded American presidents for almost 50 years. They know that if Trump is successful at bringing down the radical, ruling theocracy (and it\’s looking pretty good, so far) and have a new, peaceful government rise, the ensuing Red Wave will assure GOP control of Congress throughout the remainder of his term and beyond. They now must try everything and say anything to prevent this. Their hatred of Trump is so irrational, they would rather see this radical regime continue to export terror around the world and let our country suffer needlessly rather than allow Trump any win. That’s why Liberalism today is clearly definable as a mental illness.
