Why are you surprised?

I find it slightly amusing that people are surprised even shocked by what the Trump administration is doing along with Republican legislators federally and in Republican lead states. I must ask was no one truly listening to what Republicans have been saying all these years? Never mind the charges they level at Democrats, I am referring to what they say about their beliefs. Instability

Would any teacher tolerate a student who constantly lies, refuses to admit failure, takes credit for others’ work, demeans or bullies classmates who are less fortunate, and disrupts the learning environment? Of course not. Such behavior would be unacceptable in any classroom. Yet somehow, many Americans continue to support Trump who exhibits these same traits—habitual dishonesty, lack of empathy or compassion, and a tendency to punish or debase anyone who disagrees with him. When the Democrats were in charge of the House, Nancy Pelosi told legislators that if they wanted to know what was in a bill, they had to vote for it first, and then they could find out. For a Democrat House Speaker, that’s pretty funny since it sounds like North Korea. He has called vets “losers” and fired thirty thousand specialists, including 800 doctors, who work at the VA, so care for vets will be harder. Yet, many vets still support him. Since the Hollywood Access tape in which Trump said, “And when you’re a star, …You can do anything. Grab them by the (expletive). You can do anything.” Forty women have accused him of sexual assault.
