U.S. Presidents are preoccupied with their historical legacy. Now, in my humble opinion, Trump will not be remembered for unleashing the Golden Age of America, nor for ushering in world piece, nor for winning the Noble Peace Prize, nor for his head carved into Mount Rushmore--assuming they can find enough orange paint. Memories will live on

I just received a text picture of the demolished Plant#1 of Sprout-Waldron (S-W). I am saddened. Since 1867 this company meant so much to the employees, clients and the economy of the greater Williamsport area. The process equipment that S-W made was sold through out the modern world. Everyday that you live, you come in contact with a item that S-W equipment had a hand in manufacturing. Oh the inhumanity

Think of the United States of America as that big, beautiful blimp, the Hindenburg airship in 1937, admired by everyone looking up to it everywhere it passed. The whole world admired the innovation and accomplishment it had come to represent. A spark ignited the gases that kept the big, beautiful blimp aloft and it was destroyed along with more than half of the people aboard. It is a given that an investment in equitable education is by far the best economic development tool. Think tanks, corporations, universities and governments proclaim this through countless studies. It is the foundation and surpasses infrastructure, technology, regulations, financing, trade, natural resources, government and inclusivity.
