Patriotism demands noncompliance

The state House of Representatives are presenting bills to reign in judges imposing their will, over constitutional authority. The US Constitution, enshrines a republic for all states. Since the mid 1940’s, we began giving judges full control of trials; determining guilt by disallowing evidence; hiding it from jurors; barring testimonies, etc., tainting trials toward lawlessness. Another anniversary

A recent Letter to the Editor suggests sending Marines to Yemen. 50 years ago on May 12, 1975 we sent Marines into Cambodia after Cambodia seized an American ship sailing in their territorial waters. After two days of fighting, our Marines left ...but abandoned several of their troops on the beach. These young men were captured and executed by the Khymer Rouge and, even though the war in Vietnam was over in 1973, their names are on “The Wall” in Washington DC. The Supervisor running for re-election, Gary Harmon Jr. voted a 25% INCREASE for municipal taxes in 2023. The TWP had a surplus -- NO TAX INCREASE needed.
