My father-in-law Jack Lakey was a POW in Nazi Germany during WWII. He and millions of other American women and men served, fought, sacrificed, and even died to protect our country, our democracy, and our Constitution. In response to the writer accusing Democrats of not being able to “just let it go”, I am writing as someone who is not a Democrat, and I am not happy about what I am seeing. I just read another column written by Verna Caruso. So let’s compare apples and oranges. Yes, Trump went bankrupt but Joe Biden never did because China, Russia and Ukraine kept filling his pockets.
