The writer of the Feb. 6 letter “call to action” is so misguided. He thinks that President Trump and Elon Musk are going to destroy democracy. US power, influence decline

President Trump’s command to end the United States Government’s Aid for International Development, executed by non-governmental staff Elon Musk, is both illegal and immoral. It is not within the jurisdiction of the President to unilaterally end government agencies without Congressional consent. Where’s the beef?

Now that President Trump has signed Presidential Executive Orders ending “transgenderism” in sports, the military and gender re-assignment surgery on minors, it would be a good time for UPMC to redirect their massive transgender surgery and support network to “beefing” up their Emergency Room services, especially at UPMC Williamsport.
