Kegler’s Korner: DeWayne Harris rolls 800 series in Monday Night Classic League
For the second week in a row, a local bowler topped the 800 mark on consecutive nights in the same league. This time it was DeWayne Harris, who rolled an 819 series in the Monday Night Classic League after throwing an 801 the week before. Rebeka Zondory took women’s bowler of the week honors with her 667 series in the Intercommunity League, while Brenda Brownawell’s 254 game in the Faxon Classic League was the top female game of the week.
There were four 300 games bowled last week, one by Jeff Morgan in the Faxon Classic League, one by Jim Horton in the Thursday Night Men’s League and, in the Monday Night Classic, one by Darren Wascher and one by Harris in his top series.

Congratulations to the following bowlers who were recently elected to the Lycoming County USBC Association Hall of Fame: Susan Whitford, Brian Eiswerth, Danielle Barlet, and Bret York. These bowlers will be inducted at this year’s Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet on March 19 at the Genetti Hotel. Reservations for the Banquet are available at any of the local lanes. The deadline for getting in your reservation is Wednesday, March 9.
