There have been numerous outstanding players in Lewisburg history to play on the boys soccer team.
All-state players, an all-time shutouts leader in Pennsylvania, players with multiple state championships and district titles.
But only one player to put on a green and white uniform has ever been in the 50-goal, 50-assist club.
Well that is, until Monday night.
Lewisburg senior Viktor Permyashkin dished out two assists and in the process, reached 50 assists for his career. In a long, storied history at Lewisburg, Permyashkin joins only former standout and state champion Ben Liscum as a Green Dragon with 50 career goals and 50 career assists.

“I am really proud of Viktor for achieving this significant milestone while putting the team first the whole time,” Lewisburg coach Ben Kettlewell said. “He will always be remembered as one of the great Lewisburg players.”
The Green Dragons have proven to be a team that is hard to beat and that was evident on Monday. Williamsport held the Green Dragons at bay for the first 13 minutes of the game, but then the flood gates opened.
Isaac Ayres scored back-to-back goals in a three-minute span for a fast 2-0 lead with 24:39 to play until halftime. Logan Kitchens would score with 11:04 to play to make it a 3-0 lead before Ayres earned a hat trick with 3:50 left and a 4-0 lead. Lewisburg’s final first-half goal came when Permyashkin put in a goal with 2:57 until halftime.
In addition to Ayres’ three goals, he also had an assist. Permyashkin had two goals and two assists, Daedrian Campbell had a goal and assist, Keegan Crosby had two assists, Everett Good scored a goal and Jack Kohl, Lincoln Ayres and Mason Pawling all dished out assists.
Lewisburg held a 5-0 first-half lead and dished out four more second-half goals.

Williamsport knew defensively it would be in for a battle against undefeated Lewisburg, a team which likely will walk away with the No.1 seed in the District 4 Class Aa playoffs and is outstanding year in and year out.
The Millionaires were limited to just three shots on Monday while the Green Dragons fired 23. Gabe Pawling had a save in goal and earned his 35th career shutout.
Lewisburg closes out the regular season with a home game on Thursday against Southern Columbia before traveling to Crestwood on Oct. 16. The Millionaires will look to get back on track on Wednesday with a road trip to Selinsgrove before returning to Balls Mills for a regular-season finale against Bellefonte on Oct. 16.
